About Goldfinch Counselling Services

I believe in creating a safe and understanding space for your personal growth and well-being.

I am a registered counsellor with the National Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Society (NCS20-01983) and hold a Master's degree in Psychotherapy.

Sessions are £45 for a 50-minute session, in-person or online.  Some concessionary rates are offered for those on low-incomes or who are in training.

My Background

My career has been dedicated to education and pastoral support. In 2022, I qualified as a pluralistic psychotherapist and began working with private clients both from my home in Kent and online. In 2025, I completed a Master's degree in Psychotherapy, gaining deeper insights into various therapeutic approaches and the challenges we face in life. I have a particular interest in trauma, anxiety, spirituality, neurodiversity, and gender, sex, and relationship diversity.  Check out the tabs for more information.

How I Can Help

I typically follow a person-centred and existential approach to therapy, aiming to assist clients in discovering pathways towards personal growth and meaning. I am trained in various Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques, integrating these where appropriate to provide a well-rounded therapeutic experience.

Who I Work With

I often work with clients experiencing anxiety and grappling with questions of meaning in life. I also support individuals with neurodiversity and trauma-related issues, as well as those navigating gender, sex, and relationship diversity.

"For me, the therapeutic relationship is key. It is vital that a therapist offers a supportive, safe and non-judgemental space for a client to explore their issues."
