Making a choice

One of the difficult truths about life is that choosing one path often means letting go of others. Every meaningful decision closes certain doors while opening new ones, and this can feel uncomfortable because it involves uncertainty, loss, and commitment. Yet without choosing, people can become stuck between possibilities, unable to move forward fully in any direction. Growth often requires the courage to accept limitation: to recognise that we cannot live every possible life, and that depth, purpose, and identity are usually formed through the paths we commit to rather than the ones we endlessly keep open.
